This design was made by Sam Brooks as a starting block and something we could develop. We then went out and asked people for the feed back.

The position of ‘SJDJ Productions’

This Advert was made by Jack we had no input into the design of this however we did give Jack feedback which included positives and negative about this magazine cover.

Positives
Negatives
Good font
Colour of the red
Suitable background
Hard to read
Fading in the edges
Too much
Would stand out in a magazine
May turn people off
Lights on the edge
May give the wrong image
layout

We then went on to decide that if we brought parts of Sam's and Jack's magazine covers together we could as a group make an advert that we where all happy with. We used the software that Jack had used Photoshop to create our magazine cover. As a group we wanted to keep the background/ imagery and the writing for 'SJDJ'. However we wanted to add the album cover that Sam had used on his poster and the stars which shows it rating.

With doing a number we choose to uses jack's cover as a starting point. We have gone on to change the colour of the writing, adding a picture of the album and sorting the text. This made it look less clutter free and easy to read.

Positives
Negatives
Album cover can be seen
To dark
The colour of the writing
The writing is lost on “Never let the party stop”
HB logo

Over all presentation/ positioning of writing and images

After getting the last lot of feed back we then maid a minor change which we though would change the whole look of the ad. This was to change the font for 'Never let the party stop' which makes it more readable but also brightens the ad up. However, we still felt that the Magazine Cover was missing something which we felt the the uses of 'New' could be changed to 'debut'. and that NME could give it a rating as well.

The final product,
